The finding that the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) made about John Amores

San Miguel lost their chance to win their 30th PBA title and reach their 46th PBA finals. The loss was especially heartbreaking for a team with such a rich history of success, and veteran player and assistant coach Chris Ross felt it the most.

It was notable that the Magnolia Hotshots selected Jerom Lastimosa eighth overall in the 2024 PBA Rookie Draft. Despite his knee injury, Lastimosa was a strong prospect due to his UAAP success with the Adamson Soaring Falcons.
